Boreholes and wells are becoming increasingly more common, especially in agricultural areas, as people understand the economic benefits of tapping into what are often unlimited resources of fresh free water. Many private water supplies suffer from bacteria and chemical impurities.

JN Environmental will attend site and carry out the sampling of your Private Water Supply. The samples will then be sent off to the UKAS accredited laboratory for bacteria and chemical analysis.

Finding The Right Solution

Once the results have been received we will specify a water treatment system based on the results and the flow rates from any pumping equipment you may have. Once the equipment has been commissioned another water test should be carried out to ensure the water is to the required standards.

Buying A House With A Private Water Supply?

If you are buying a house with a private water supply your mortgage company may require that you have the water sampled and and an analyzed at a UKAS accredited lab.
